Google is working on adding a sophisticated graphics engine to Android

Google Inc. today announced its intention to add sophisticated graphics engine to the Android system allows application developers access to the games graphics processor hardware to provide interfaces and games better than the performance and processing hand.

The new engine allows for Developers working with graphics processor directly and control the presentation of their drawings inside applications and games with ease.

Google said that the current graphics engine found in Android is not designed to implement more of the task at the same time in parallel, which requires synchronization between tasks, something that can be improved through the implementation of tasks in parallel as is the case in the new engine.

The Khronos Group has developed a new graphics engine which is responsible for the development of libraries such as OpenGL and WebGL and other standard libraries used widely in the field of high-resolution graphics and three-dimensional on computers and smart devices.

Said Neil Tarifit Khronos Group Chairman, said that the development of software and hardware companies need to interface an open three-dimensional graphics allow them to improve market access and reduce programming and development costs. He added that the support systems such as Linux, Windows, and Android shows support developers in order to provide very distinct content.

And still own the new engine under development standards, so you can not use the engine in the next version Android M, but it is certainly used in the version next year.

Shannon Woods  technical program manager at Google during the announcement of the use of the new engine said , the Android supports OpenGL ES in advance and this support will continue to facilitate the process of application development, but using Vulkan of graphics can control more. He added that Google is committed to providing a distinctive experience for developers to use regardless of the user's graphics engine.
